Here are your results!

You're on the way, but there is so much more you can do...

CONGRATULATIONS on completing the, 'How sustainable is your wedding business? quiz! According to your results, you’re starting to make a difference but, you could be smashing it!

You're off to a promising start. You have some good ideas and have implemented them, but you could be doing so much more to really take it to the next level. Those eco-conscious clients are out there but you need to really shine out to get them to notice you!

Three easy tips to help you on your sustainability journey...

1. Recycle recycle recycle!

Different items can be recycled in different areas. Why not take a look at your local council website and find out what can be recycled near you and what you need to do with it. You may be suprised at what you CAN recycle!

Then, implement a waste management system in your workspace so you have a place to separate the different items ready to recycle them! This can be as simple as a set of different coloured waste bins or even some old cardboard boxes labelled with different items.

2. LED bulbs!

LED bulbs on average do the same work as 25 incandescant bulbs over their lifetime. They are also completely recyclable and are free from all harsh chemicals and do not emit UV rays.

Take a look at your workspace and try to replace all of the light sources with LED bulbs. Not only are you helping the environment you will also be saving money as LED's use less power!

3. Make sure you shout about Sustainability!

It's no good doing all of this work if no-one knows about it! Make sure your potential clients know that you consider the environment not only in the services you provide but also in how you run your business. Shout about it EVERYWHERE!

"Who’s the Sustainability Queen behind all this?"

I’m glad you asked...

Hey there 👋 I’m Samantha Withey, founder of The Eco-conscious Wedding Network and CEO of Willow and Rust Weddings, a successful sustainable wedding planning and styling business . I have learnt so much since starting my eco-friendly wedding business and now i'm here to help you!

Your sustainability dreams can 100% be a reality – but, let me tell you, it can also be confusing when you’re starting out.

How do I know? Well, I’ve been there, too.

Knowing what to do next and where to get the right products and supplies from can be daunting and take a lot of research. Especially when you're trying to run a profitable business at the same time!

BUT that's where I can help....

With time and dedication, I was able to mould my business into what I wanted it to be so I could attract like minded couples who want to reduce the impact their day will have on the environment.

AND let me tell you there are a lot of them out there! For so long the wedding industry has been associated with over indulgence, oppulence and wastefulness. But this is beginning to change, couples are realising that they can still have an amazingly beautiful day without having a negative affect on the planet.
